Steve Horton is a partner in the firm's Taunton office. He is a general practice partner specialising in providing advice to owner managed businesses and high net worth clients. Steve is also a director of our Financial Services company which provides independent advice on pensions, investments and protection and Steve is chairman of the Shark and Coral Conservation Trust.

Financial Services

Having had many years experience advising clients on pension matters, particularly in relation to their tax affairs, and having built up considerable expertise in the areas of self administered and self invested pensions, Steve decided to specialise in the area of Financial Services. Steve is head of our associated company, Milsted Langdon Financial Services Limited who act as independent financial advisers. He is supported by a strong team of specialists in this area and is able to offer a wide range of advice to companies and individuals. He is able to offer independent expert advice in areas including:-

• Personal and corporate pension planning
• Investment
• Savings
• Inheritance Tax planning
• Business protection and employee benefits
• Personal protection including life insurance and income protection

Steve and his team are able to offer advice in these areas to clients of Milsted Langdon based on an indepth knowledge of the client's tax and financial position. This ensures that any advice provided not only meets the client's financial objectives but achieves maximum tax efficiency.

Steve continues to advise a portfolio of general practice clients covering a broad range of owner managed businesses.

Steve has something of a reputation for dealing with problem clients and enabling those clients to resolve problems of a taxation, financial or commercial nature through regular on-going advice to them.
